 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her acting career as a child just after moving to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (since). Apart from her commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, following her appearance in the television pilot that has not yet aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents and she left antisemitism at two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. At five years of age she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out in her sophomore year. She she was able to get a GED and went to pursue an Associate of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
